What is the Church Like?
Our church meets in the building of Adelanto's very first church. Located on the Corner of Bartlett and Greening. Our decor is traditional yet fresh, we know you will feel welcomed and right at home.
The church is full of friendly faces of all ages and backgrounds. The atmosphere is welcoming and inviting.
What Are the Services Like?
The beginning of the service will be filled with singing. The music at Desert Streams is uplifting, inspirational, and reflective. We view music, not as entertainment for ourselves, but as a powerful tool to draw our hearts toward God, and to please Him with the outpouring of our hearts and voices. This philosophy is reflected strongly in our music style.
As for the preaching time, Pastor Strausbaugh preaches practical truths directly from the Bible, to grow our understanding of God, and help us in our daily lives.
Each service ends with a time of personal prayer, for an opportunity to think about what was taught, and make any decisions necessary in our lives.
The services from beginning to end, last about an hour and fifteen minutes.
What should I Bring?
It's a good idea to bring a Bible if you have one, and a pen if you're in the habit of taking notes. Most importantly, come with an open heart, ready to hear from the Lord.
What Should I Wear?
Our church does not have a dress code. Although many of our members choose to come in their "Sunday best," we want you to come as you are most comfortable.
What About My Kids?
We have a safe, loving nursery for children 3 years old and younger, and classes for children 4-12. If you'd prefer to keep your children with you in the main service, you may do so.
