Pastor Thomas Strausbaugh grew up in Southern California and was saved as a 19 year old young man at an Independent Baptist Church in Palm Desert, CA. God began to work on his heart to surrender to full-time ministry and in April of 2006 God called him to preach. He is a graduate of West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, CA. He and his wife Brittany, who grew up in Lancaster and was saved at Lancaster Baptist Church, met in Bible College and were married in July of 2010.
Upon graduating from West Coast, Thomas and Brittany moved to Yuma, AZ to serve with Pastor John Goetsch, Jr. on the staff of Faith Baptist Church. They worked with the children and teens for over six years and God richly blessed their ministry.
In October 2016, God called the Strausbaughs to Adelanto, CA to be the pastor of Desert Streams Baptist Church.
Pastor Thomas has a burden to reach the lost and preach the whole counsel of God. His life's verse is found in 1 Corinthians 15:10 which says, "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."
Pastor and Brittany have 4 beautiful children; Thomas Jr., Chloe, Titus, and Phebe.
